Our school is a multi site campus. The Horsham West Campus is located in Horsham, on the edge of an expanding residential development precinct. The Haven Campus is located five kilometres south of Horsham in the semi-rural area of Haven. We have the junior campus of the Horsham Special Development School located on the West Campus site. This year Horsham West Primary School year 5 students have been selected for the Netbook trial.
The Netbook Trial is an exciting initiative for Victorian Government schools and provides approximately 10,000 students with a wireless-enabled companion device for access anytime, anywhere.
Netbooks will encourage 1-to-1 learning in schools. the portability and multimedia capabilities of Netbooks will transform teaching and learning and assist to ensure students are prepared for and become engaged in the innovation and knowledge economy of the 21st century.
